For many restaurants, Valentine’s Day is their Super Bowl—and this year, the Hallmark holiday and big game day are going head to head, with many of the city’s best eateries pulling double duty in order to offer specials and menus for both annual events (particularly since the game will take place here in L.A. at SoFi Stadium). In practice, this also means couples hoping to celebrate early might have their prolonged eye contact and intimate conversations interrupted by loud screaming. Who knows!

Our word of advice, applicable just for 2022? Skip the early celebration and celebrate with your loved ones on Valentine’s Day itself, which falls on a Monday this year.
